Biohacks for Optimal Performance: Cold Thermogenesis

The term biohacking has become very popular over the last year. Biohacking refers to the art of hacking your biology or using nature’s built-in mechanisms to stack the deck in your favor and become the best version of you. I like to think of it simply as maximizing our biological potential and becoming superhuman.

This is Part 2 of the series where we discuss cold exposure and cold thermogenesis in great detail, including how it benefits you at the cellular level and how to implement these powerful biohacks into your life. A great example of cold thermogenesis is taking a cold shower. These can hack your biology to power up your mitochondria, the battery chargers of our body!
