Biohacks for Optimal Performance: Heat Stress
The term biohacking has become very popular over the last year. Biohacking refers to the art of hacking your biology or using nature’s built-in mechanisms to stack the deck in your favor and become the best version of you. I like to think of it simply as maximizing our biological potential and becoming superhuman. This is going to be a 3 part lecture series where we are going to cover the following biohacks:
Heat: Infrared exposure (sauna/sunlight)
Cold Thermogenesis
Cyclical ketosis
This is Part 1 of the series where we discuss heat stress in great detail, including proper sauna use and sunlight. These can hack our biology to power up our mitochondria, the battery chargers of our body!
