BIOHACKERS Season 2 Release Confirmed by Netflix for 2021: Luna Wedler & Jessica Schwarz to return
Hey, guys! So, after the recent cancellation of Dark, many fans of the hit sci-fi German Netflix Original series had very high hopes for the new thriller drama Biohackers, which was released on August 20. Just ONE WEEK after the debut, Netflix renewed Biohackers for Season 2, which is slated for Summer 2021 release. Biohackers became the eighths Netflix Original series from Germany, following such hit shows as Dark and How to Sell Drugs Online Fast. Filming of new episodes is expected to begin in the German cities of Freiburg and Munich in the next few months. The techno-thriller series debuted strongly with an 88% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Luna Wedler, Jessica Schwarz, Adrian Julius Tillmann and the rest of the main cast are all coming back for Season 2. The first season ended with an unexpected twist: just when Mia had everything she needed to expose Professor Lorenz, they both got kidnapped by the man she was seeking help from, Andreas Winter.
